About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair within the Security Department in London, the Duty Security Officer is responsible to assist the Security department in all aspects of security whether at the main doors, F&B outlets, common areas of the Residences or any other areas of requirement.

As Duty Security Officer, you will responsible for the following duties:

  • Being familiar with security procedures on an active building site
  • Being flexible in supporting the Front of House operations in the lobby area
  • Being able to demonstrate Concierge skills while being a visible point of contact for guests
  • Holding a current full driving licence to support the valet team when necessary and being proficient in obtaining witness statements and writing incident reports
  • Complying with the Code of Practice for Security Staff
  • Being trained in First Aid emergency techniques, pool safety and fire safety.
  • Investigating, administrating, and reporting all accidents with an emphasis on incidents as legislated by RIDDOR.

As Duty Security Officer, We Expect From You

  • to be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, and night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
