The Job Role 

As Ecommerce Merchandiser, you will be integral in ensuring users receive a seamless online experience. Using analytics and insights, you will enhance the customer journey, identify refinements, ensure we are maximising search capabilities and optimise the navigation.

You will showcase products with accurate categorisation and promote cross/upsell opportunities. At all times you will look to maximise sales opportunities, driven by data-based insights. You will be confident working collaboratively across IT, product, sales and marketing functions, and 3rd party providers.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

• Ensure all products/services are merchandised effectively with accurate and up-to-date information, the category tree and navigation
• Manage and advance the B2B web platform roadmap and development projects with IT and3rd party providers
• Understand and improve customer journeys to maximise conversion rates, average order values, retention and overall customer experience
• Ensure content is optimised across multiple operating systems and devices
• Collaborate with the Corporate Programmes Marketing Manager, in-house creative team and external agencies on new content
• Provide reporting on agreed platform metrics to stakeholders
• Conduct regular site audits to ensure web performance remains optimised
• Own and manage our Westcoast Fulfilment Services websites

Is this the role for you?

To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:

• Previous experience managing website content, ideally within the technology space
• Ability to work tactically and think strategically with experience of developing an ecommerce roadmap
• Experience in maximising online customer journeys
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS for support and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Excellent overall IT experience, including managing a CMS (ie tradeit), analytic tools (GA4) and other applications (including Magento for our Westcoast Fulfilment Services websites)
• Commercially minded with an analytical approach to problem solving
• Ability to collaborate and influence multiple stakeholders across multiple functions
• First class attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good level of education, ideally a relevant degree or similar
