The E-Mobility Automotive Manager will be responsible for implementing and optimizing the fleet electrification roadmap, introducing e-bikes and electric cargo scooters for last-mile deliveries, establishing strategic partnerships with OEMs, and electrifying yard equipment. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and excellent collaboration skills to drive the company's e-mobility initiatives.
Job Description• Develop and execute a comprehensive fleet electrification roadmap based on the company's operational needs.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the electric fleet to ensure optimal efficiency and sustainability.
• Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in fleet electrification.
• Plan and implement the introduction of e-bikes and electric cargo scooters to enhance efficiency and sustainability in last-mile deliveries.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of these vehicles.
• Monitor the usage and performance of e-bikes and electric cargo scooters to ensure they meet operational requirements.
• Work closely with the procurement team to establish strategic partnerships with OEMs for the acquisition of electric vehicles.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure the best terms and conditions for the company.
• Maintain strong relationships with OEMs to stay updated on the latest advancements in electric vehicle technology.
• Develop and implement plans to electrify yard equipment to reduce emissions and enhance sustainability.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the successful integration of electric yard equipment.
• Monitor the performance and efficiency of electrified yard equipment to ensure they meet operational standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fleet electrification and e-mobility solutions.
• Strong understanding of EV technology, including batteries, motors and energy management systems
• Expertise in vehicle selection, TCO analysis and feasibility assessments
• Understanding of energy consumption patterns and battery range optimization
• Competence in working with OEMs, charging providers and energy suppliers
• Experience in assessing and mitigating challenges related to EV adoption, such as charging downtime, grid capacity constraints and load management
