As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for an Eco-Toxicology Specialist to join our Global Safety Team to provide expert eco-toxicological advice, hazard and risk assessment to internal and external customers.
You will be responsible for providing ecotoxicology expertise to internal Croda business partners. You will also provide ecotoxicology product and substance specific support to Croda customers with an emphasis on novel non-animal approaches to hazard and safety assessment.

- BsC Hons/MsC/PhD in exo-toxicology or life sciences (with relevant experience in a related field)
- MIn of 3 year’s experience working within the consumer industry with good knowledge and experience of consumer hazard and safety assessment.
- Experience/knowledge in alternatives to animal testing

- Providing ecotoxicology expertise to internal Croda business partners
- Providing ecotoxicology product and substance specific support to Croda customers with an emphasis on novel non-animal approaches to hazard and safety assessment
- Contributing to the evolution of Croda’s approach to hazard/safety assessment to deliver to the current and future needs of Croda’s categories and regions
- Preparing of, and participating in, workshops and representing Croda at Trade Associations, Conferences and Initiatives supporting alternatives to animal testing for both environmental exposure and health
- Delivery of technical input into strategic decision making of the Global Safety and Regulatory Affairs Groups
- Recognised contact person for ecotoxicology topics

This is a hybrid position based at our Cowick site.
This position can be based at any of our Croda sites (regionally), with particular preference to being based at our UK Head Office in Cowick.
