We're looking for qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners to join us in our Oxfordshire Mental Health Support Teams.
There are two vacancies, one in the City and one in the North of Oxfordshire; if you're looking for flexible working arrangements, then this might be the ideal role for you.
We're looking for people who are enthusiastic and motivated to join our teams to deliver the best outcomes for children, young people and their families in the Oxford area.
PLEASE note that this is not for the EMHP trainee places.
Job Description
In this role, you'll work as an autonomous responsible practitioner and within the scope of your local job description, to engage in:
- Delivering evidence-based intervention for children and young people in education setting with mild to moderate mental health problems.
- Supporting schools with their whole school approach to mental health e.g. assemblies, workshops.
- Supporting/facilitating staff in education settings to identify and, where appropriate, manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing.
- Helping children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to access more specialist services.
