Education, Training and Employment Support Officer (Children's Social Care)
Fixed Term / Secondment Opportunity for 12 months
PO2: £43,542 rising in annual increments to £46,437 pa incl. LW

We have an exciting new role created for a person passionate about supporting Lambeth’s young people to access pathways into education, training and employment. You will be based within the 16+ Independence Service and will be reporting directly to the Service Manager or a team manager delegated by him/her/them.
You will work very closely with the Department of Business, Culture and Investment & Skills and Employment) as well as other Lambeth youth employment initiatives such as ELEVATE, Lambeth MADE.
You will be responsible for maximising the potential for young people not in education employment or training and aged 18-25, to develop confidence, connections, skills development and paid employment in various industries.
You will work closely with internal and external referral partners deliver tailored ‘wraparound’ 1:1 employability support, connecting them to relevant training and paid (London Living Wage) employment opportunities.
You will be responsible in tracking and monitoring those young people who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment, and Training) and those who are pursuing opportunities alternative to college and Sixth Form such as employment, traineeships, or apprenticeships.
You will also meet the targets, KPIs and objectives of the specific programmes you are to lead on and demonstrate success against accurate monitoring and evaluation reporting requirements.
