Were seeking a
dedicated and proactive EHCP Coordinator to join our Islington Supported Internship team on a part-time basis (22.5 hours per week). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with SEND helping to shape their journey into meaningful employment and greater independence.
As an
EHCP Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping the journey of our learners by leading the coordination of the EHCP annual review process and supporting the referral process for both current learners and those preparing to join us in the next academic year.
Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, youll ensure that all EHCPs are high-quality, up to date, and annual reviews are completed within the required timeframes, in line with the SEND Code of Practice. Your work will be key in ensuring that every learner has the right support in place to succeed.
In addition to managing EHCPs, you will take support with bringing new referrals onto the programme. Youll assess the suitability of each learner to ensure we are setting them up for success with the ultimate goal of supporting them to achieve
sustained, meaningful employment by the end of the academic year.
This role requires good organisation, attention to detail and ability to keep to timescales and targets.
Do you have the skills and requirements for the EHCP Coordinator?
- Professional conduct and the ability to work collaboratively
- Experience of delivering against targets
- Experience of being involved in an EHCP review process
- Experience of working with young SEND learners
- Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
- A-C/9-4 English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
- Good time management and planning skills
All candidates offered an interview for this role will need to provide evidence of their GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
