Main Duties: Commissioning, Technical Assistance, Maintenance, Troubleshooting of Polar cranes
Working for our prestigious client, an Equipment Manufacturer of High-Safety handling equipment for nuclear power plants. They are a key contributor to the Hinkley Point C project by installing, commissioning and maintaining the Polar Cranes previously built in their factory located in Europe.
The Polar Crane is a heavy electromechanical rotating crane, extensively used during construction phase for handling activities into the reactor building. Later-on, during operation outages it is a critical system used for all the reactor building heavy liftings.
Main duties: :
• Supervises the installation of Polar Cranes
• Participates to the Commissioning of Polar Cranes
• Provides preventive and corrective maintenance services for Polar Cranes
• Applies rules related to Quality, Safety and Security in the Nuclear environment
Key skills and experience:
• Degree in electrotechnics and/or automation systems
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance of electromechanical systems, preferably for cranes and handling equipment
• Proven experience in corrective maintenance (troubleshooting) of electromechanical systems
• Experience: 3-5 years, preferably on-site
