Description

There’s a permanent opportunity for an Employee Experience and Communications Executive here at Dalkia UK. We are looking for someone to join our team and to be based in either London or Birmingham.


The Employee Experience and Communications Executive will apply their experience of effective employee experience and communications strategies, to develop, implement and measure the effectiveness of employee experience activities and communications (internally and externally) at Dalkia UK (Facilities).


The successful candidate will provide guidance on employee experience and communications activities, in line with Dalkia UK (Facilities) strategy to help create more ‘good days at work’ for their people. They will also be responsible for building and owning relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including members of the Senior Leadership Team.


Location: Hybrid (London or Birmingham)


The Role

  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve the employee experience to promote a positive work environment.
  • Work closely with HR to analyse and monitor employee data to feed into the activities of the team.
  • Stay on top of the latest trends in employee engagement and communications (including data from Poppulo) to suggest ways to drive innovation.
  • Develop, manage and deliver proactive, targeted and measurable communication initiatives and campaigns, designed to drive employee experience and help achieve excellent business results.
  • Support key stakeholders in the delivery of their strategy/campaigns by providing:
  1. Expert advice on the best approach to deliver key messages.
  2. Excellent writing and editing support to shape messages and align with business goals/values.
  • Keep on top of news around Dalkia UK (Facilities) to create case studies for the website and engaging content for the intranet.
  • Editor of the fortnightly email publication and quarterly print publication.
  • Support the delivery of events across Dalkia UK (Facilities).
  • Contribute to the activities of the wider Dalkia UK Communications Team including developing visuals to support campaigns and writing and posting LinkedIn post
  • Generate/manage purchase orders and invoices.


Hours of Work

  • Monday-Friday, 8,30am-5.00pm

Positive attitude, creative, proactive, resilient, energetic and enthusiastic.

  • Experience working in an Employee Experience and Communications role
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and design) to hold the confidence of peers, colleagues and senior management.
  • Strong understanding of communications channels and their impact on employee experience.
  • Develop robust project plans and turning these into successfully implemented actions, which are delivered on time, to budget and achieve maximum employee experience.
  • The ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Great people skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • An understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Canva and Poppulo (or similar).
  • Educated to degree level, or a demonstration of ability to the same level delivered in a working environment.
