L’Oréal UKI is seeking a dynamic, results driven NAM to continue to drive our business forward. This channel is highly strategic, experiencing dynamic double digit growth, with an incredible amount of future potential.
In essence, this role is perfect for some motivated, who thrives in a fast paced environment, and has the get up and go to maximise the incredible scale up and potential this offers.
This role will involve managing distributors who sell via third party (3P) on Amazon and previous experience and knowledge of this is required.
You’ll proactively work with the multifunctional team to deliver overall sales objectives: drive market share, grow turnover and manage profitability within the L’Oreal Consumer Products Division Amazon business, and always strive for more!
A DAY IN A LIFE
- Third-Party Partner Management: Develop and maintain a strong relationship with our third-party partner, including communication, performance reviews, and collaborative planning.
- Sales & Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the partner to develop and execute Amazon sales and marketing strategies, influencing advertising and promotions.
- Optimise Inventory: Coordinate inventory levels with the partner to ensure sufficient stock while minimising costs, providing forecasts and replenishment strategies.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track key metrics, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to the partner to enhance sales and profitability.
- Brand Representation: Ensure consistent brand representation on Amazon across product listings, A+ Content, and brand storefront, upholding brand guidelines.
- Navigate Amazon Ecosystem: Stay informed about Amazon policies and best practices to effectively guide the third-party partner.
- Contract Management: Oversee the contractual agreement with the partner, including performance expectations and payment terms.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide regular performance updates to internal stakeholders and facilitate communication between the partner and L'Oréal teams.
- Problem Solving & Mediation: Address any performance issues, conflicts, or discrepancies between L'Oréal’s expectations and the third-party partner's execution. Mediate and find solutions that benefit both parties.
- Support Amazon initiatives: Assist L'Oréal's 1P Amazon team with key projects to drive overall performance.
Who You Are
- Amazon 3P experience: You have previous experience and/or in depth knowledge of managing sales via Third-Party Markeplace via Third-Party Partner
- Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with external partners. Ability to effectively influence the strategies and actions of a third-party partner without direct authority.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong analytical and negotiation skills, familiarity with contract terms understanding of how to manage profitability
- Knowledge of Amazon’s ecosystem: Understanding of Amazon dynamics and ecosystem and ability to go beyond traditional sales by leveraging levers to drive traffic, conversion and brand presence.
- Drive, tenacity, and resilience with an ‘anything is possible’ attitude
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with attention to detail
- Work well under pressure
- Strong Communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong influencing skills – ability to demonstrate thought leadership and proactively manage stakeholders
- Ideally experience working with Amazon and/or Ecommerce arena
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
