Miryco Consultants are working with a London Market Insurance company in their search for a skilled Enterprise Risk Manager.
This role will be pivotal in identifying, assessing, and managing risks across the organization, ensuring that risk management strategies align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management within the insurance industry and a proven ability to navigate complex risk landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Identification and Assessment: Develop and implement risk assessment processes to identify and evaluate potential risks across the enterprise. Analyze risk factors and their potential impact on the company’s operations and strategic goals.
- Risk Management Framework: Design and enhance the risk management framework, ensuring it is robust, comprehensive, and aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Mitigation Strategies: Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and control measures. Monitor the effectiveness of these strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
- Risk Reporting: Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for the Head of Enterprise Risk and other senior stakeholders. Provide insights and recommendations based on risk assessments to support informed decision-making.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Stay updated on changes in regulations and assess their potential impact on the organization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and legal teams, to integrate risk management practices into business processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Location: London
Salary: £75,000 (Dependent on experience)
