The Role
Are you a Project or Environmental Engineer looking for a rewarding career that combines your engineering knowledge with your passions for professional development and large-scale and sustainable projects that benefit the society and the environment? If yes, then United Utilities (UU) have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Engineering Studies Programme.
As a Project or Environmental Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists to conduct comprehensive studies and develop innovative, sustainable solutions for clean water projects. Positioned at the forefront of our most transformative initiatives, you will have full access to our organisation’s expertise, resources, and state-of-the-art technologies.
Leveraging your technical knowledge, you will address complex engineering challenges unique to the water sector. Your role will involve close collaboration with teams across Research and Development (R&D), Planning, and Network Engineering, contributing to the strategic direction and technical excellence of our Engineering Studies Programme. Your input will be critical in driving forward our mission and supporting the successful delivery of our ambitious infrastructure and sustainability goals across North West England.
We are committed to supporting your professional development, providing you with the tools and mentorship needed to manage increasingly complex projects. This role also offers a clear pathway toward achieving chartered status with the Association for Project Management (APM).
