Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) Business Partner to join our team and help embed ED&I into the heart of everything we do.
This role is key to delivering long-term cultural transformation across our diverse and multi-faceted organisation. You will act as a visible and credible champion for ED&I, supporting the implementation of inclusive strategies and initiatives that align with L&Q’s vision, values, and strategic priorities.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an ED&I Business Partner, you will:
- Lead and deliver key ED&I initiatives and projects that drive sustainable cultural change.
- Partner with business areas to embed inclusive practices into our people policies, service delivery, and resident engagement.
- Provide expert advice, coaching, and support to colleagues and leaders to build ED&I capability and confidence.
- Use data and insight to inform decision-making, track progress, and demonstrate impact.
- Support the Head of ED&I in championing L&Q’s approach externally and forming strategic partnerships across the housing and construction sectors.
- Ensure policies and practices are inclusive, intersectional, and compliant with regulatory obligations.
- People Manager responsibility for the ED&I Officer contributing to the continuous improvement of our ED&I function.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is passionate about ED&I and brings:
- Experience implementing ED&I strategies and initiatives within complex organisations.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and drive change at all levels.
- A deep understanding of ED&I principles, legislation, and best practice.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform strategy and measure impact.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- The ability to manage ambiguity and conflicting priorities while maintaining a focus on results.
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience (CIPD qualification desirable).
We are a multi-site organisation, so occasional travel between offices may be required. All travel expenses will be covered.
