Marshall Fleet Solutions (MFS) have just opened up an exciting new role for an ERP Project Manager to join their team.
Purpose of the position
The role of the Project Manager will be to plan, implement and deliver successful projects from inception to handover. They will liaise with the various teams within MFS, as well as suppliers / customers depending on the scope of any specific project, with the aim of ensuring projects are delivered to agreed timelines and budgets.
They will be responsible for monitoring and controlling all change throughout a project’s life cycle, in accordance with the relevant project requirements. It will be the Project Manager's responsibility to manage compliance within the agreed methodology, governance and gateway approvals.
Accountability
- Quality assurance and overall integrity of projects.
- Ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with the governance arrangements.
- Liaising with the Process Improvement Manager to ensure Standard Operating Procedures are kept to date.
- Managing the communications with all stakeholders.
- Either managing their own projects or assisting the IT Management in the management of the project budgets, monitoring the expenditures and costs, through liaison with the finance and IT Management teams.
- Assisting in the managing of third-party contributions to the project.
- Managing risks to the project’s successful outcome.
- Assist in co-ordinating all requirements throughout the project process including but not limited to:
- On-site project management.
- Project co-ordination.
- Cost control.
- Forecasting.
- Programming.
- Document management.
- Health & Safety.
- Change management.
- Reporting progress of projects at regular intervals.
Capability
Knowledge, Skills And Qualifications/Professional Membership
- The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the delivery of projects with experience in the facilitation and production of delivery programmes, work schedules over multiple projects.
- Conversant with applicable legislation, regulations, and standards.
- Experience in the use of Project Management systems.
- Competent in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project.
- You must be able to deliver works accurately, working within multiple deadlines and duties.
- You will be expected to utilise your own initiative, whilst also working well as an integral team member.
- A good understanding of the project management principles.
- Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
- Ability to write clear precise reports and schedules of work.
- Simplify complex information to a diverse range of people.
- Good at developing relationships with stakeholders.
- Previous experience of IFS would be an advantage but not essential.
Additional local needs
Travel will be required with occasional overnight stays within the role.
