Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Associate, ESG Compliance and Risk Management to join our team in London. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, assessing, and managing risks impacting our business operations and reputation. Your expertise in compliance and ESG reporting will support our commitment to delivering exceptional client service while ensuring adherence to evolving laws, regulations, and industry standards.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, balancing flexibility and collaboration in a global organization dedicated to sustainability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • ESG Software Management: Implement, maintain, and update ESG software to collect and manage Vialto's ESG metrics effectively.
  • CSRD Implementation:
    • Support the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) for the Group.
    • Conduct a Double Materiality Study, perform initial gap analysis, and contribute to Vialto’s first CSRD statement.
  • Regulatory ESG Reporting: Provide expertise on global regulatory ESG reporting requirements, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions.
  • GHG and Net-Zero Initiatives:
    • Lead initiatives for tracking and reducing the Group's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (Scope 1, 2, and 3).
    • Drive efforts to achieve the Group's net-zero goals.
  • Legislative Monitoring: Monitor compliance with global ESG-related legislation and ensure adherence to emerging reporting standards.
  • Investor Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive ESG reports to investors, demonstrating Vialto’s progress and impact.
  • ESG Initiatives: Actively participate in and contribute to the Group’s ESG initiatives to support sustainability and social responsibility goals.
Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Law, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in ESG compliance, risk management, or sustainability reporting.

Key Skills

  • Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, such as GRI, TCFD, and CSRD.
  • Expertise in GHG accounting methodologies and Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
  • Familiarity with ESG software tools and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply global ESG regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or certifications in ESG, sustainability, or compliance (e.g., SASB, GRI certification).
  • Experience in managing investor-facing ESG reports and initiatives.
