Are you an experienced estimator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovative construction? Algeco UK is looking for an Estimator to contribute to our preconstruction team, delivering accurate, risk-managed, and timely commercial bids. We work across diverse sectors, including education, healthcare, defence, and commercial markets.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and submit competitive bid proposals tailored to client needs and project specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, covering materials, labour, and subcontractor quotes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure bids are comprehensive and competitive.
• Follow value and risk management processes, participating in project handovers for a seamless transition.
• Benchmark completed projects to refine and enhance estimating practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in cost estimation, ideally within modular or off-site construction.
• A Degree or HNC in construction, quantity surveying, or a related discipline. (CDM qualifications beneficial; training can be provided.)
• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and experience with estimating software.
• A detail-oriented, collaborative individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally to client sites and manufacturing facilities.
