Estimator and shape something special.
What you'll be doing
• Efficient production of quotations for Traditional, Nexus and Urban modular buildings - providing guidance on design and specification to provide customers with effective building solutions, suitable for the projects needs and requirements.
• Produce quotations for tender purposes based on effective estimating, using relatable markets rates to ensure BB Modular stay competitive throughout the tender process.
• Regularly review and update fleet condition to provide accurate data on the current fleet numbers and estimated refurbishment costs of fleet buildings in stock.
• Provide information and support of costs to completion and handover reports to operations and commercial managers
Who we're looking for
The following qualities/experience are essential:
• Problem solving capabilities – includes forecasting potential issues in initial building design stages, looking beyond the obvious to ensure the customer is provided the best solution.
• A LEAN attitude towards the supply chain and tier 1 contractors to ensure costs supplied are competitive with relatable market rates.
• Time management/Priority Setting – ensure an organised and time managed approached to work tasks with a constant focus on day-to-day activities. Can successfully organise and prioritise workloads to understand which tasks should be prioritised.
The following qualities/experience are desirable:
- Knowledge of Insphire asset management software preferred
- Knowledge of modular building industry preferred
- Excellent team working and customer facing skills
