Your mission:


The Service Organisation oversees the operations that enhance customers’ after-sales experience across a wide range of Epson products.


This Service Operations Manager is pivotal in driving financial management, operational planning, and repair process control within the European Service Organisation, ensuring streamlined and efficient service operations throughout the region.


As the control tower for the Service Europe Organisation, the finance and Service Operations Manager will be responsible for financial planning and performance analysis.


You will collaborate closely with country service teams to support performance improvements and enhance operational effectiveness in alignment with European KPIs.


*Start date for this role will be April 2025


Please note that this role can be based in the UK, France, Germany, Spain or Italy.


What you will do::


Budget Forecasting Support:

  • Present and explain on a quarterly basis the Service operations budget, collaborating with the Service teams in country and at a European level, and with the Finance teams.


Business Analysis:

  • Coordinate the analysis of service-related costs performance versus forecast and prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Compare financial performance with operational Key Performance Indicator (KPI) achievement
  • Present findings on deviations and provide actionable insights to Service management and country Service Managers.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for implementation.


Service Control:

  • Drives and manage the control processes for repair events managed by the repair network across Europe, ensuring consistent best practices are applied for each country.
  • Propose, maintain, and continuously improve those reporting controls to enable feedback to Service teams for their repair operations.
  • Coordinate monitoring of spare parts stock levels to maintain service delivery performance.


Team Leadership:

  • Manage a team located across European countries.
  • Drive the team towards meeting annual objectives, holding team members to a high standard of performance identifying and developing talent.
  • Act as a role model and ensure a culture of diversity and inclusion in the function.


What we ask for:


  • Strong financial background together with proven experience in service business analysis, cost forecasting and control
  • Strong proficiency and knowledge of Excel to enable analysis and prepare relevant summaries.
  • Strong knowledge of service operations, cost management, and repair network control
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present analysis & insights clearly
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Good people management skills
  • Strong track record of people management
