About The Role
We’re looking for a smart, creative, and commercially-minded individual to join our Market Development team. This is a fantastic early-career opportunity for someone with 3–5 years’ experience in consulting, commercial strategy, or B2B proposition development to step into a hands-on, outward-facing role at the heart of a fast-growing cleantech business.
You’ll help shape high-impact EV fleet charging propositions for large businesses, engage directly with customers in new industries and regions, and work cross-functionally to bring concepts to life. You’ll lead pilot projects and customer co-creation initiatives to test and refine ideas—turning insight into opportunity and creating new leads for our sales teams.
You’ll also collaborate closely with our Marketing and Product teams to translate proposition ideas into compelling sales collateral, customer narratives, and go-to-market tools that bring our value to life across touchpoints.
Role And Responsibilities
- Design relevant and differentiated propositions that address key business issues in fleet electrification and supply chain decarbonization.
- Research and understand customer pain points, market dynamics, and emerging needs in target sectors.
- Work directly with customers in new industries and geographies to co-develop and test value propositions.
- Lead early-stage customer projects that generate commercial insights, validate solution fit, and create pipeline opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Delivery teams to align solutions with capability and customer demand.
- Shape product and proposition messaging, creating content and tools that enable effective sales and marketing execution.
- Monitor competitor offerings, regulatory changes, and market trends to keep VEV at the forefront of fleet decarbonization.
Experience And Qualifications Required
- 3–5 years’ experience in management consulting, commercial development, or B2B strategy roles.
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability.
- Customer-first mindset with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and understand their business challenges.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills—comfortable shaping ideas, building consensus, and presenting concepts clearly.
- A proactive self-starter excited to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, internationally scaling environment.
