We are looking for a Shunter Driver to work onsite our a commercial vehicle depot in Bristol, BS16.
You will be moving medium and large vehicles around depots, working both unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Monday to Friday
- 4pm - 9pm, 25 hours per week
- Overtime possibilities
- £12.75 per hour
- Must hold a 3.5t driving license
- Ideally 7.5t C1 license holder
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in cleaning environment is essential
- IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
Core Responsibilities - Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:
- Ensuring the safe movement of vehicles around the depot
- Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
- Manoeuvring vehicles into wash areas
- Manoeuvring vehicles into correct loading bays ready for loading
- Operate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road users.
- Ensuring vehicles are parked ready for the next operating service
- Sending of wash and time sheet to Divisional Manager end of each week
