A B2B financial services provider is seeking an Event Executive to assist the marketing team with the implementation of both in-person and digital events across the UK, US, and Europe. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a junior events marketing professional with 2+ years of experience looking for that next step in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of a tactical annual events plan.
- Support both hosted and sponsored event marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Events Director to create detailed project plans covering all stages from concept through to planning, delivery, and post-event reporting and analysis.
- Assist with venue research, on-site branding, audio/visual setup, catering arrangements, registration, and post-event reporting.
- Work closely with the internal creative team by providing comprehensive event briefs for identity, design, and production of event collateral.
- Assist in drafting outreach materials (invitations, website copy, social media posts) and support the creation of pre- and post-event digital assets.
- Manage the tracking of event branded items, including but not limited to collateral and giveaways.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of B2B event marketing experience (either in-house or agency) is essential.
- Financial services experience would be desired but a background in wider B2B would be advantageous.
- Strong copywriting skills.
- A history of effective interactions with diverse stakeholders is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Marketing Automation, event registration software (Cvent preferable), Canva, webinar software.
- UK experience is essential.
