About The Role
We are recruiting for an Executive Assistant who will provide high-level administrative duties and perform a wide range of complex and confidential tasks for our Managing Partner. You will play a pivotal role in the firm and have the rare opportunity to work closely with the Managing Partner.
You will perform a wide range of business support tasks including the planning and organising of meetings, managing logistics and international travel, gathering documents and preparing presentations. You will handle high-level administrative duties, filtering the Managing Partners work, and playing a critical role in preparing strategic documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support: Prepare all documentation and minutes for the monthly executive meetings. Review, assess and follow up on actions and coordinate with various departments to ensure deadlines are met. Ensure all tasks that the Managing Partner has assigned or has prioritised are carried out. Make sure deadlines are met and both urgent and important issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Documentation & Communication: Organise and maintain records and critical documents, ensuring confidentiality. Prepare, review, and synthesise documents, business plans and financial reports. Draft, proofread, and edit executive-level communication. Route, monitor and follow up on correspondence with discretion and sensitivity. Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and briefing materials.
- Projects & Events: Conduct and present analysis on competitor data for potential growth opportunities. Coordinate the logistics for senior leadership events, including conferences, seminars, and international forums. Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Managing Partner e.g. International Strategy.
- Diary Management: Organise and coordinate travel and logistics across the senior teams’ diaries. Work with the PA of the Managing Partner to ensure his time and calendar is optimised.
- Administration: A willingness and flexibility to step in to undertake a range of administrative duties as and when required.
- Travel: The position can be based in either Worcester or Cheltenham office, but will involve travel nationally. You will need to be available to work unsocial hours, as requested.
About You
You will have:
- Experience: Five or more years of experience in a senior secretarial/EA role, including experience working across a multi-office environment. Prior experience supporting senior executives in professional services, or a consulting firm is a significant advantage.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is essential. Excel and PowerPoint skills are key for preparing financial models and executive presentations.
- Competencies: Attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure a timely delivery. Strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to manage senior relationships. The ability to prepare executive-level presentations, memos and reports. Ability to understand financial information, with good problem-solving, analytical, and evaluative skills. A creative flair to generate ideas and to identify areas of improvement. Self-starting, agile and thrives on change.
