The opportunity

To ensure prudent succession planning, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a senior role based in Northern Ireland. The role will entail the management of our Commercial Property proposition in Northern Ireland under our adjuster-led model and potentially extend to ‘Head of Office’ with regional responsibility. The successful candidate will also carry a caseload of Commercial Property (including Major Loss) cases.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Property - North, you will be working closely with the national and regional teams, to deliver on operational objectives.

Your Responsibilities

Working closely with the Head of Commercial Property North and the operational regional team, to deliver on the following objectives:

  • Financial performance as against the set regional budget
  • Delivery of excellent and consistent regional performance against set performance measures
  • Management of own caseload and involvement in supporting the cases handled by the team as required
  • Continual review of processes, systems and methodologies
  • Promote and facilitate an environment for staff development
  • Support the provision of the Major Loss Practice by working closely with the Head of Major Loss for your Area and liaising over all aspects of common interest and mutual benefit
  • Support the provision of Specialist Practices by working closely with the Product Heads and liaising over all aspects of common interest and mutual benefit
  • Identify and deliver on regional growth opportunities

About You- Knowledge And Experience

The successful Candidate will have experience in the commercial loss adjusting sector and will preferably have significant team management experience including coaching and mentoring. They will also have strong stakeholder management skills including the ability to establish strong working relationships. Successful candidates will have excellent negotiation, decision making and problem solving-skills and be highly self-motivated and driven. The individual will also take pride in delivering outputs on time, with a focus on quality, communication and organisation. CILA qualifications or progress toward also preferred.
