FY3 (ST1 Equivalent) Locally Employed Doctor Programme
Are you looking to develop your medical career at a leading London teaching hospital? Join Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as a trust grade doctor on our F3 Programme for Locally Employed Doctors (LEDs).
We are recruiting for F3-level roles across a range of specialties, starting Wednesday 6th August 2025. Applicants must have completed Foundation Training or equivalent. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a world-class teaching environment with access to excellent training facilities.
Posts are offered for 12 months, with an initial placement in one specialty. There may be an opportunity to rotate after six months, subject to post availability.
Successful Candidates Will Receive
- Access to the HORUS e-Portfolio
- A named educational supervisor
- £400 study leave budget and 10 days’ study leave per year
- Progress reviews and annual appraisal
- Opportunities for QI and research projects
- Support from the F3 Training Programme Director and Medical Education Team
During your F3 post, you’ll be expected to build a strong portfolio of skills and experience to support your future career progression.

- Haematology
- Intensive Care Medicine
- Medical Oncology
- Neurology

- Stroke Medicine
Please note that availability is subject to change and will depend on your ranking at interview. Interviews are expected to take place w/c 23rd or 30th June 2025 and will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
