Overall Purpose of the Job

The Expro Fluid Analysis Centre is look for an enthusiastic individual to join our Logistic/Stores team. The position is based at our laboratory in Winnersh Triangle Business Park, just outside Reading. The role is primarily focussed on stores department, managing orders and ensuring sufficient stock is available for our laboratory operations in the UK and globally.

Key Activities And Accountabilities

This part time role is for 23+ hours a week; the nature of the position allows these hours to be performed on a flexible basis during the standard 5 day working week.

• Purchasing and processing of goods via our purchase order system
• Maintain Stock database, including regular stock takes
• Assist with performing routine QHSE tasks related to the building (eg Fire alarm testing, Emergency lighting)
• Assist Logistics Co-ordinator with the preparation of shipments (national and international)
• Perform minor housekeeping and maintenance.
• Assist in supervision of contractors when on site
  
  

Job Knowledge And Qualifications

• Basic Numeracy
• Familiarity with computers specifically Excel Spreadsheets
• Willingness to be hands on with tasks
• Methodical approach to handling workload
