Description
Overall responsibility for the management of a Company Breeder Farm, including all aspects of husbandry, ensuring that eggs produced are of the correct standard and specification. The position encompasses commercial aspects of managing the farm, which involves working to budgets, targets and management of people. Maintain the professional integrity and appearance of the farm and dwellings at all times.
Bird welfare must be of utmost priority at all times. The successful candidate will ‘live’ Welfare as a Condition in all that they do. Simultaneously, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and development via our bespoke Agriculture Academy. ‘Growing our own’ agriculture specialists and leaders of the future is something that is extremely important to Moy Park.
Academy Management - To promote future development across the Breeder division, encouraging the development of new employees and further development for existing employees. To assist Assistant Farm Managers to further their career within the division.
What You'll Need

What You'll Need
- Previous involvement in field
- Sound decision maker
- Be prepared to undertake NVQ3 and attend any necessary courses
- People Management skills
- Farm Management Experience
- Budget management
- Previous supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Environmental issues
- Full UK Driving License
