Here at Lifeways in Bartley Green we are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team. Ideally you will have previous experience in a Care / Support Work, however, if you are new to the role and have a passion for helping others to lead their most independent lives then Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support to enable you to enjoy a rewarding career with us.
At this residential service , people enjoy daily walks in the local area, cooking, socialising with their families, shopping, listening to music, going to the disco, sensory play, arts and crafts, swimming and watching films. We aim to ensure all goals are met, whether it’s making a sandwich or choosing clothes to wear and what they want to watch on television.
People choose how they spend their time - day trips to Liverpool, Manchester and the circus are a few recent examples. This is a busy household where people like to stay active so we work in collaboration with each person to make sure they can do whatever activities they’d like.
