As a Relief Support Worker On 'Floating Support' You Will Be Expected To Provide Support That Will Enormously Contribute To The People We Support Living a More Comfortable, Dignified, Liberated And Happy Life Within The Community And Supported Living Ideally You Will Have Experience Of
- Supporting people to live independently benefits, budget management, paying bills, house work, keeping their tenancy, organising and attending appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals amongst others.
- Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and sometimes prompting/assisting with bathing, showering and using the bathroom.
- Excellent communication skills/relationship building supporting the person to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
- Community & Social Inclusion- Supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and Social events to promote life skills and individuality. Supporting with hobbies, health pursuits and even going to the pub!
