Field Service Engineer (m/f/d)
This is a remote job.
Job Description
Traveling both within the UK and overseas, you will provide service and upgrade work on customers sites, for our aftermarket department.
Main Duties
- Provide hands-on mechanical / electrical field support, for the full range of EMEA equipment
- Ensure: general service visits, inspections, equipment refurbishments, rebuilds and upgrades, relocation of customers existing equipment and customer training
- Troubleshoot and repair system failures or malfunctions
- Help with installation or technical support, if needed
- Write service reports and document all maintenance and repair work
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Provide feedback on market information and customers comments
- Mechanical background, ideally with electrical skills as well hands-on profile
- Experience in installation or maintenance of complex equipment,
- Experience with food equipment and process would be appreciated
- Customer focus with excellent communication skills and a successful track record of developing external or internal customer relationships
- Good problem-solving techniques using an analytical approach
- Willingness to travel (at short notice) and work on customer sites both in the UK and overseas valid driving license.
- Ability to work alone but still be part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Good PC skills (Word, Excel)
