Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer with a strong electrical/electronic and mechanical background to support our client’s specialist operations in Vibration Test Equipment Systems. This role requires travel across the UK and internationally and flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs at customer sites.
- Install, service, and troubleshoot Vibration Test Equipment.
- Respond quickly to service requests, sometimes at short notice.
- Ensure all work follows health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with other engineers to complete projects on time.
- Take on additional tasks to meet business needs.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2/BTEC in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
- HNC qualification and knowledge of vibration testing are an advantage.
- Previous experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting and electrical systems.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
- Willing to work flexible hours and travel internationally.
- Valid passport and UK driving licence required.
- Experience with 3-phase and high-voltage/current systems.
