Filtration Plant Operator
Shift pattern: From start date to 30 June 2025, you will be working Tuesday to Thursday, 6pm – 6am. From 1 July 2025, we will move to a increased night shift pattern – Monday to Friday, 10pm - 6am
Night shift salary: £37,619 rising to £42,239 when working increased night shift from 1 July 2025

De La Rue are currently looking to recruit a Filtration Plant Operator for our site near Loughton, Essex. Reporting to the Pre-Press Manager, you will be required to support operations by ensuring the smooth running of our Effluent Plant area.
The role will also include but not limited to;

The role

De La Rue are currently looking to recruit a Filtration Plant Operator for our site near Loughton, Essex. Reporting to the Pre-Press Manager, you will be required to support operations by ensuring the smooth running of our Effluent Plant area.
The role will also include but not limited to;
- Ensuring there are no production delays resulting from unavailability of solution
- Ensuring that the Quality of solution is to standard required
- Make our Print team aware of any breakdowns in time to move to back up equipment to ensure a smooth operation
- Be proactive in monitoring the levels and equipment ensuring efficient running and optimum availability
- Making sure to correct procedures ensure outputs meet required standards
- Ensuring that our recycled water is to correct quality and any solutions are discharged to drains comply with Local Authority requirements
- Ensure that all solid waste disposed of in accordance with legislative requirements
- Responsible for ensuring that the Effluent Plant is operated in the correct and safe procedure
- Working with our Engineering team to flag and report any maintenance or breakdown issues
