Let Us Tell You a Bit About The Opportunity

This role presents an exciting opportunity to join Aldermore’s Cost Business Partnering Team – an integral part of the Group’s Finance function and one which offers fantastic learning and growth potential.

Reporting to the Senior Cost Business Partner, this role will support the Group’s Central Functions where you will be supporting the business by delivering impactful commercial insight to support decision making and ensuring Aldermore achieves its strategic objectives.

This role will suit an individual who thrives in a challenging and changing environment and is passionate about supporting the business make great commercial decisions.

The role will be based in either of our Reading or London offices however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week.

What will your day look like?

• Building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Producing detailed cost and headcount forecasts by working closely with the business translating their strategy into financial plans.
• Providing explanations for cost variances against plan through a detailed understanding of business and cost drivers.
• Supporting the Business to optimise operations and drive financial performance.
• Clearly presenting ‘the story’ to a range of stakeholders and contribute to ExCo and Board packs.
  
  

What do we expect from you

• Several years’ experience in a Cost Business Partnering role
• Experience of developing meaningful relationships with a range of diverse stakeholders whilst providing independent review and challenge.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with proven experience of being able to produce and present complex financial information concisely.
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
• A strong team player, self-motivated, proactive and able to use own initiative to formulate own ideas and opinions.
• Experience in a fast-paced and agile environment with the ability to look for efficiencies and implement new processes as the business evolves.
