Role Purpose

The role consists of supporting and advising the LHO Division on financial matters such as monthly closing, budgeting, workforce planning, system innovations, and more. You will be instrumental in providing outstanding business support and contributing to Lonza's ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the LHO Controller to ensure excellent Business Support
• Provide support to decision making: consulting spending, FTEs, planning, and reporting
• Manage month-end close activities for the Corporate Functions (accruals, reclassifications, allocation, FTE assignments, etc.)
• Analyze financial information and provide insightful comments
• Support in planning costs and FTEs during Outlook and Budget cycles
• Assist with year-end and internal audits
• Coordinate with SAR functions’ controllers and collect the necessary data
• Support controlling activities for the Lonza Holding Divisions
  
  

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related fields
• Familiarity with accounting principles, financial reports, and critical metrics
• Proven experience in month-end activities
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with senior leaders, executives, and collaborators from various teams
• Ability to clearly communicate and manage the interests of collaborators
• Ability to articulate complex accounting topics clearly and concisely
• Strong Excel user – minimum expectations include proficiency in pivot tables and V-lookups
