Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Management
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Assess the financial impact of projects to optimize company performance and liquidity.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Regulatory & Financial Compliance
- Prepare and present financial reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with international standards.
- Oversee audits, tax compliance, and regulatory obligations.
Risk & Financial Governance
- Implement strong financial controls to ensure regulatory and policy adherence.
- Provide guidance on project financing, incentives, and subsidies within the renewable sector.
Capital Management & Funding
- Ensure compliance with debt structures, including asset-backed securities and project financing.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operational success.
Team Leadership & Operational Development
- Lead a small finance team, fostering professional growth and development.
- Support business process improvements across investment and financial operations.
- Identify and introduce new financial tools and technologies to enhance efficiency.
Stakeholder Relations
- Serve as the primary finance contact for investors, lenders, auditors, and external partners.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with strong corporate finance experience.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Expertise in financial technology and process automation.
- Hands-on approach with a keen eye for operational detail.
- Strong knowledge of debt structures and financial instruments.
- Proven leadership abilities and cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with external partners and stakeholders.
