Finance Reporting Manager in Media | Central London | £70-£80k plus bonus

Exciting opportunity for a high caliber individual looking for a Finance Manager role in a leading Media & Entertainment organisation with a supportive culture and opportunity for progression.

My client is a leading media business who is looking to expand their finance function by adding a Finance Manager to the team. This is a fantastic role for someone who is looking to develop their career within accounting at a market leading global business.

This would be the perfect next step for a qualified accountant who is is audit trained with 2+ years industry experience who is looking to take a step up.

Note: You must be available to start within the next month.

The Role

As a key member of the finance team, this role is responsible for:

• Lead the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring accordance with UK GAAP
• Cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations and bank reporting
• Ownership of actual, budget forecast process
• Ensure strong internal control environment identifying weaknesses in controls
• Manage and develop junior team members
• Oversight of the accounts payable team, ensuring processes and team are managed effectively

You will regularly interact with senior management, meaning that stakeholder management skills and an affable personality are a must. This role requires a strong performer and somebody with the ambition and intellect to apply their own insights were possible and suggest improvements to existing processes.

Your Background

You are a qualified accountant with at least 2 years post qualified experience. Ideally, you are audit trained with 2+years experience within a comparable media organisation.

Location

Central London with hybrid working from home.
