Finance Manager

Broster Buchanan have been retained by Kubus, a multi award-winning IT solutions and services business to recruit for a Finance Manager to be based in their Head Office near Cirencester.

Kubus has established itself as a key player in the technology industry, offering a range of IT infrastructure solutions focused on networking, server & storage infrastructure and cyber security. After recently securing investment from BGF they are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to assist with their ambitious growth plans.

As Finance Manager you will oversee and lead the finance team whilst supporting the Finance Director in providing critical business partnering and timely, accurate financial analysis to all stakeholders across the business.

This role is pivotal in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Finance department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting and providing effective decision support.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provision of timely and insightful financial and commercial reporting
• Business partnering and provision of commercial guidance and financial support
• Oversee the monthly management accounts and providing effective decision support.
• Maintaining and reviewing the Commissions Report
• Prepare KPI and stakeholder reports and assist with the completion of the Board report
• Review and enhance the monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Assist in preparing group annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Oversee and lead the finance function, including that of Management Accounts, Treasury, AR and AP.
• Oversee cash flow, and working capital
• Assist in completion of company secretarial duties across the group
• Lead and oversee statutory audit/tax/accounts preparation process.
• Provision of support for the management of all insurances across the business.
• Continual identification and development of processes and procedures

Requirements

The successful candidate will be ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified with strong reporting and stakeholder engagement skills. The role requires an effective team manager, who is a strong communicator, with excellent attention to detail.
