Our client is an established media group with a strong presence across digital and broadcast platforms. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will work in a broad and varied role, working with numerous stakeholders and managing a team. The successful candidate will have excellent academics and a strong ambition to progress in their career and professional qualifications.

Description

The duties and responsibilities for this Finance Manager role include, but are not limited to:

• Lead a growing Finance team, overseeing and managing junior members.
• Manage reporting and the yearly audit.
• Manage the monthly group management accounting.
• Oversee and manage the company’s credit control processes, ensuring timely collections, maintaining healthy cash flow, and minimising bad debts.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including performance reviews, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of annual group external audits.
• Support the maintenance of a robust financial control.

Skills

The skills and experience required for this Finance Manager role include, but are not limited to:

• Excellent academics, minimum A* and A for A-levels, and a First-Class or 2:1 from a top university.
• Relevant post-university finance experience.
• Currently pursuing or keen on pursuing ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is desirable.
• Good Sage skills are desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and an excellent work ethic.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
