As a Financial Accountant for a multi-currency listed UK company, you will play a key role in the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful consolidated financial information. You will work closely with highly professional financial reporting teams across our global subsidiaries to support half-year and year-end reporting processes under IFRS, drive continuous improvement in reporting quality, and ensure compliance with financial control requirements.
This is a high-profile role that blends technical excellence with commercial acumen and interpersonal effectiveness. It offers significant visibility across the Group and is suited to candidates with strong intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and a drive to develop into a future finance leader.
You will be applying your knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and working knowledge and experience to consolidate and report financial information for the Group. You will be ensuring and enforcing compliance for accurate reporting from the sites and provide guidance and support on IFRS accounting matters.
Reporting to the Financial Controller for the Group, you will take on responsibility for preparing the consolidated primary statements (including balance sheet, consolidated income statement and consolidated cash flows). You will be supporting to ensure that data submissions from the sites are submitted accurately each month & for budget periods as well as ensuring that data also reconciles back to legal entity & ERP ledgers with a particular focus on year end and interim accounting reporting compliance and enforcing accountability of this data from the local site managers.
Twice a year (and one of the key deliverables for this role) is that you will be responsible (along with the rest of the reporting team) for delivering the interim end and year end reporting results for the Group. This will involve directly liaising with external auditors and other departments both externally and internally.
