Financial Accountant

Investigo are partnered with an exciting international bank, looking for a financial accountant to join a high-performing team in London. This is a 12-month contract supporting the business through their monthly, quarterly and statutory reporting & audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of the month end, transaction analysis and journal preparation.
• Assisting with the production of Group Reporting at the relevant period closes.
• Responsible for maintaining the fixed asset register, and capitalisation, depreciation and disposal of assets
• Assisting with the annual financial statement preparation and liasing wih auditors, dealing with queries
• Preparation of VAT and Corporate Tax Return and associated reconciliations.
• Front and back office systems daily reconciliations.
• ad hoc project work when needed

Experience/Profile Needed:

• Relevant accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA)
• 2-5 years post qualified experience
• Technical knowledge of IAS/IFRS
• Strong excel skills
• Immediately available or short notice
