We have a newly created opportunity for Financial Accounts Apprentice to join our Finance team. In this role you’ll be collating and providing financial information to meet the needs of internal and external customers.

We’ll support you with in-house training as well as providing structured study support for your AAT qualification.

Your role will also include responsibility for:

• Supporting month end process administration
• Preparing financial reports and associated information
• Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing and posting journal entries
• Analysing the UK group cashflow
• Creating fixed assets on the system
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns
• Assisting with annual corporation tax returns
• Assisting with statutory accounts preparation
• Supporting both internal and external audits
• Supporting the team with general administration when required
  
  

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Educated to an A Level / Level 3 standard
• GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 (or equivalent)
• Experience working in an office environment would be advantageous, but is not essential
• Confident typing and using MS Office programmes
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
