This role is working closely with the Finance Manager and Head of Finance to support them with all BAU work and ah-hoc projects across the business. This role provides opportunity to play an active role in driving business growth and performance.

The ideal candidates is a qualified accountant looking to make their first move out of practice or have a background in an analytical/ business partner role at a media/ technology/ consumer based business.

You will be responsible for business partnering, financial reporting, variance analysis, working with business stakeholders to prepare an accurate and timely monthly board report and presenting to the senior leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and analysis of weekly results that are presented to the CFO and the Group
• Investigate variances that appear in weekly reporting and conduct weekly reporting on forecasts
• Weekly and monthly reporting on costs and KPIs
• Understand the full P&Ls across the business
• Responsible for conducting the month end process and supporting the ongoing improvement of month end reporting and analysis processes
• Providing assistance with budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Updating and maintaining the rolling forecast
• Quarterly reporting and analysis
• Assisting in improving process and systems to increase efficiencies

You will regularly interact with senior management, meaning that stakeholder management skills and an affable personality are a must. This role requires a strong performer and somebody with the ambition and intellect to apply their own insights were possible and suggest improvements to existing processes.

Your Background

You are a qualified accountant with at least 1+ years post qualified experience. Ideally, you are audit trained looking to make your first move into industry or have a background in an analytical/ business partner role at a media/ technology/ consumer based business.

You must be ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA qualified to be considered for this role.

Location

Based in Central London with work from home flexibility.
