Company Overview

You will be joining a very well-established and highly regarded global Education business as their Finance Analyst on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a close-knit team of 5 in FP&A, you will report directly into the Senior FP&A Manager and be supported by two Senior Finance Analysts. Based in their modern South West London office 3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining 2 days.


Role Responsibilities

In your new role, you will be responsible for supporting the budgeting process, forecasting and variance analysis, preparing and analysing monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports, supporting statutory closes, external audits and performance tracking. You will calculate commissions, cost allocations and monitor revenue streams and cost structures. You will drive efficiency and automation in financial operations and use Excel and Power BI to extract/analyse data, develop dashboards and support data-driven decision-making.


Role Requirements

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have at least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting or business controlling. You will have previous exposure to financial planning, process automation and forecasting. You will be actively studying, or keen to start studying towards a further Accountancy qualification such as ACCA or CIMA. You will be proficient with the use of Excel and experience using Power BI, SQL, Oracle or similar tools is highly desirable. You will possess an outstanding work ethic and be a strong communicator with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels across the business. You will be a proactive, enthusiastic, engaging and dedicated individual with the capability to work well independently and as part of a team.


In Return

You will receive an annual salary of up to £40,000 + Study Support (case by case) + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate. Three times a week you will be based from their super modern and luxurious South West London office, with the option to work from home for the remaining two days, in line with the firms hybrid working model.
