Financial Controller

I am seeking a Financial Controller to join my clients Senior Leadership Team, overseeing all financial aspects of two of their UK business within a larger international group. This role is integral to their strategic planning, offering a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Managing Directors and Leadership team to enhance financial processes and drive business performance.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans alongside the Leadership team.
- Provide accurate and insightful financial advice, analysis, and reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure the timely delivery of monthly and annual financial reports.
- Offer forecasts and insights on financial trends to aid in long-term planning.
- Lead the annual budget process and monitor cash flows and financial transactions.
- Oversee risk management and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Represent the finance department in projects and transformation programmes.
- Collaborate on monthly reporting, process optimisation, and budgeting.
- Responsibility for one member of staff.
- Attend Senior Leadership Team meetings to discuss and strategise on financial matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be a qualified finance professional (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar role.
- Strong financial and strategic planning skills are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in managing financial risk and control activities.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills are necessary.
