Financial Controller
Based in Milton Keynes
£100k + car allowance + bonus
Investigo are supporting this high growth PE backed business based in Milton Keynes who are seeking a Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is currently working in a reporting manager/ finance manager who is looking for the next step in their career.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accounting/ finance operations & payroll team.
Ideally you will have strong experience around cash management and improving processes and controls.
There is a potential to be involved in acquisitions as well as the business looks to grow.
Key Duties
- Overall responsibility for the accounting team (c10 heads)
- Lead the preparation of audit schedules
- Develop and strengthen financial systems
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance teams
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, financial reporting standards
- Ensure that all financial controls are in place and effective including balance sheet reconciliations
Experience Required
- Must be qualified (ACA/ACCA)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Experience in delivering finance transformation
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
