Financial Controller – Listed Technology Business

Location: London (Hybrid Working)

Salary: Up to £110,000 + Benefits

We’re working with a dynamic listed technology company at the cutting edge of innovation, seeking a Financial Controller to lead their finance function through the next phase of growth. About the Role:

As Financial Controller, you'll report directly to the CFO and play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of the company's financial operations. You’ll oversee a growing finance team and take ownership of key functions including:

• Team leadership – Manage, develop and mentor a high-performing finance team
• Management accounting – Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• Statutory reporting – Lead on year-end close and production of financial statements in line with IFRS
• Audit management – Coordinate the annual audit and liaise with external auditors
• Internal controls – Strengthen and maintain robust financial controls across the business
• Systems & process improvement – Drive continuous improvement of financial systems and reporting processes

About You:

We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with:

• Strong experience in statutory accounting and audit preparation within a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrable success in leading and developing teams
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and excellent stakeholder management skills
• A strong technical foundation and commercial mindset, ideally gained within a listed or complex corporate environment
• Prior experience in the technology sector is a plus, but not essential
