Role Purpose

We are looking for a Financial Controller to assist the Chief Operating and Financial Officer in ensuring that the Finance function is a world class, best in industry operation. The candidate will have total autonomy over the financial control function and will work across the entire business to ensure that the financials accurately reflect the position of the firm. This role is critical to ensure the health of the business and will provide significant visibility to the senior leadership team (SLT)Job Requirements

Background and Experience OR what you’ll bring to Jungle

• 3-8 years post qualified experience of proven financial control experience in a multi entity/group environment.
• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, ideally from an accountancy practice.
• Relevant Media/Marketing agency industry experience.
• Strong FRS knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the COFO, where you will be managing a team of three, responsible for the day to day accounting, financial control, statutory/management reporting and tax compliance of the Jungle Creations Group. The range of responsibilities includes:

• Management Accounts, consolidated and departmental management accounts.
• Ownership of end-to-end P&L from Revenue to Net Profit focusing on gross margin % and contribution margin.
• Balance Sheet, ensure accuracy and substantiation of all balance sheet accounts.
• Cash flow, monthly forecasting and treasury management, including covenant compliance.
• Annual Group Statutory Accounts, responsible for preparation of group accounts including subsidiaries and liaising with auditors.
• All taxes across the Company, including Quarterly group VAT returns, PAYE and Corporation Tax.
• Finance Business Partnering, be the voice of finance in the business in numerous areas, e.g. review of project gross margins, assist with structuring large contracts, review of OPEX spending, set departmental KPIs.
• Policies & Procedures be the primary owner and contact for all finance policies of the Group including the expenses and travel policies.
• Finance Management, form a part of the senior management of the Finance team and input accordingly.Job Benefits
