We are looking for a talented
Financial Controller - Case & Construction (BSP EMEA) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape financial strategy and drive operational excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This role offers flexibility, with the option to be based at one of our EMEA locations. The specific office placement will be determined in alignment with both your preferences and the needs of the business.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Perform financial analysis, monitor KPIs, and generate detailed reports.
- Provide financial support and insightful interpretation to guide business decisions.
- Collaborate with non-financial management to drive business objectives.
- Develop strategic models and support the implementation of business strategies.
- Ensure compliance with business procedures, reporting standards, and conduct risk assessments.
- Oversee and prepare budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with goals.
- Review and optimize working capital to improve financial efficiency.
- Evaluate and assess capex and contract approval requests for financial viability.
- Reconcile global and EMEA data with local systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.
YOUR PROFILE
Education:
- Recognised Professional Accounting Qualification required
Experience/knowledge:
- Excellent analytical skills & the ability to communicate across business functions.
- Multiple years experience of with Financial Planning & Analysis in a multi-country environment
- Strong knowledge of O365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP and financial consolidation systems (HFM, OneStream) would also be preferable.
Personal Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication skills
- Pro-active with an analytical approach and working alongside non-financial teams. Commercial & operational focus
- Able to show initiative, preventing problems rather than reacting to them.
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload within a busy environment.
