Description
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions, ensuring optimal financial liquidity.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership, supporting growth and business efficiency initiatives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes and timely delivery of requested information.
  • Oversee and optimize a complex Excel-based financial reporting setup, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead and coordinate the transition to a new financial software system, including planning, implementation, and team training.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting principles, and company policies.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent is essential.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior finance role.
  • Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or US GAAP).
  • Proficiency in financial systems, ERP software, and Excel (advanced, including complex formulas, macros, and data modeling).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors.
  • Proven track record in managing or supporting financial system transitions or implementations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a finance team.
