Financial Planning Consultant

Interim FPA Consultant – 3-6 Month Contract | £600-£750 per day outside IR35

Location: Hertfordshire

Duration: 3-6 months

We are seeking an experienced FPA Consultant to support the CFO of a well-established retail organisation with a strong, recognisable brand. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in developing and shaping a 3-5 year strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the CFO to define long-term strategic goals and financial forecasts.
• Lead the development of a comprehensive 3-5 year financial strategy plan that aligns with business objectives.
• Provide expert input and deliver a robust valuation of the business, incorporating key financial metrics and market trends.
• Work cross-functionally with senior management and stakeholders to ensure buy-in and alignment of strategic initiatives.
• Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to help guide decision-making processes.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as an FPA Consultant, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis.
• Experience supporting senior leaders (CFO/CEO) with strategic financial projects.
• Ability to carry out accurate business valuations and financial forecasting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise at all levels.
• Experience within the retail sector is highly advantageous.
