We are now looking for a Financial Reporting contractor’s Services to join our Finance team for a 6-month contract. You will report directly to our Financial Controller.
THE SERVICES REQUIRED:
- Prepare and support statutory group consolidation packs,
- Review financial statement disclosures,
- Produce technical accounting documentation,
- Coordinate audit documentation and requests via audit collaboration tools,
- Support tax audit pack submissions, manage auditor queries,
- Assist with month-end close and daily finance operations,
- Contribute to documenting and improving audit processes and wider finance initiatives.
THE INDIVIDUAL/S PROVIDING THE SERVICES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), with the ability to hit the ground running
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Proven experience in financial reporting, statutory accounts, and audit support
- Demonstrated ability to draft clear and accurate technical accounting papers (e.g., impairment assessments, intangible asset reviews)
- Prior experience coordinating and responding to audit documentation requests
- Familiarity with audit collaboration tools such as Inflo Collaborate (desirable but not essential)
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working across financial systems
